Roz Wren is a freelance Designer/Maker and Artist with over 25 years’ experience specialising in:- Theatrical Costume and Set Design, Festival and Event Design, Community Arts Workshops and Puppet Construction.
Roz works on many varied projects and loves bringing grand visions into reality, she happily engages with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Designing and making all manner of things, collaborating and sharing knowledge are all part of her professional world.
Roz is the recipient of three Tasmanian Theatre Council awards;
Costume Design for Big Monkey Theatre – Wind in the Willows 2019/2020.
Design for – ‘An Inconvenient Woman’ for Tasmanian Theatre Company 2018, and
Set Design for – ‘On Our Selection’, for Hobart Rep 2016.
Roz has styled a wide range of festivals and corporate events and has experience in all areas of festival/event theming, decoration, production and installation.
Roz designs and delivers community arts workshops where people of any age or ability can unleash their creativity to produce surprising and often spectacular results.
