I designed the printed fabrics with the idea of using elements of the character eg. Billy Bones has giant bones on his coat, the doctor has old fashioned stethoscopes. Also, I used motifs taken from 18th century costumes like multiple buttons, drew, enlarged them and had those printed too. I used spoonflower.com for my printing.
